WATERPERRY GARDENS, 19TH SEPTEMBER:
We have had to cancel this outing due to lack of interest.
EGM – 25th JULY:
As detailed in our February newsletter, should you wish to suggest any amendments to the Club Rules or General Information, please advise Monica, club secretary, in writing, at the April meeting. Your comments or suggestions can also be posted or emailed to arrive no later than 16th May so that they can be published at the same time as the amendments your committee are proposing. The current wording can be seen on our website.
WANTED – USED PLANT POTS:
We are always looking for donations of used plant pots, especially with the Plant Sale coming up.
Anything from 5”, 1 litre, 2 litre and bigger accepted. Please see Hilary or Monica. Can be collected if necessary.
Donations for our Plant table always welcome and don’t forget to get sowing and potting up for our Plant Sale on the 21st May.
We will be asking for volunteers to help at the plant sale next month.
The Schedule is nearing completion, just some recipes to check.
We have been able to get a replacement Floral Art judge, or should I say two judges! They are from Hereford Floral Art Society and are looking forward to judging the inspiring titles that we have already announced.
Every month Shropshire NGS send through details of their open gardens but, unfortunately these always arrive too late to be included in the Newsletter.
Therefore, I have asked the NGS to let me have some leaflets which will be available this month. However, it has been suggested that should you wish to receive the information in the future you should email Fiona Chancellor at firstname.lastname@example.org and she will add you personally to their distribution list.
THINGS TO DO, PLACES TO GO:
The Cart Shed are holding a plant Sale in the grounds of Broxwood Court on the 26th April.
Our speaker on the 25th April is Gareth Davies on “A year with Fuchsias”
We would encourage members to follow the latest government coronavirus guidance when attending club meetings (www.gov.uk/coronavirus)
