Thanks To:
Maggie Jennings and Rebecca Stanners for the refreshments this month and to those who help put out and tidied up the chairs and also donating plants to the plant stall – yes there will be one!!

Don’t Forget:

  • This month’s speaker is Timothy Walker on Euphorbias and he is bringing plants for sale.
  • There are still some spaces on the coach for our visit to RHS Bridgewater Gardens on the 28th June and there will be more details soon.
  • Tickets for Toby Buckland are now £14 to everyone, available at the Club meeting on 31st May, via Gill at her home address (Tipperwhig, 4 Glover Road, Leominster. HR6 8SW) with a cheque made payable to ODGC and a stamped addressed envelope or at Orleton Village Shop

Plant Sale – 22nd May:
As we have already said, the Plant Sale was a great success and has proved that being held outside is the place to be – weather permitting!
The refreshments were well received and the ladies are already booked for the August Show!
Also, Dan the man is booked for tool sharpening next year.
The amount raised is still being totalled and added to, but will certainly help with the budget for future speakers, especially in next year’s programme.

41st ANNUAL SHOW – Saturday 20th August 2022:
The Schedule is on our website and can be printed in A4 or booklet format.

If you need any more information speak to your Show sub-committee – Gill Macefield and Monica Todd and we are still looking for volunteers to Steward.

Visit to Painswick Rococo Gardens:
The application form for this visit on the 13th September is on the website.
Some members may need a lift so please fill in the form if you have spare spaces in your car.

Places to go:
St George’s Church in Orleton is holding a Jubilee Flower Festival 2nd to 5th June – see the poster on the notice board.  ODGC is sponsoring one of the exhibits.

Last but not least:
Don’t forget there is no meeting in June, the next meeting is Toby Buckland on the 26th July.

Please remember:
We would encourage members to follow the latest government coronavirus guidance when attending club meetings (www.gov.uk/coronavirus)
