ORLETON AND DISTRICT GARDENING CLUB
OCTOBER 2024 NEWLETTER
Our speaker this month is Duncan Coombs on the subject of “Winter Colour and interest in the Garden”
THANKS:
To Jane Turvey, Anne Sinclair and Carol Brooking for organising the refreshments this month and to those who help setting up the chairs before the meeting and clearing away at the end of the evening.
DECEMBER DINNER – Tuesday 10 December – The Riverside, Aymestrey:
In my email of the 17th October I asked for members to show interest so that I could confirm the booking. Well I have already had plenty of interest before Club night so the booking is confirmed.
The menu and booking form are now also on the website (under the OUTINGS tab) so could you please let me have your forms asap. Click here for form and menu
SEED ORDERS:
I have already sent in one order of over £200 gross and am building up to submit a second one
The discount on seeds remains at 50% and is 15% on everything else. There are also discounts on bulk delivery of composts etc.
The same as last year the orders will be delivered to me, but this year potatoes will be sent direct to your home address. Because of this they are adding £1.50 to each order to be individually packed.
As well as the catalogue, there are many more items on the Marshalls website.
