The Art of Foraging

Liz Knight is a wild food expert and author. Teaching foraging courses across the UK and running an acclaimed wild food business, her ambrosial, globally influenced recipes have led many sceptics to eat their words and their weeds. Liz’s first book ‘Forage; wild plants to gather cook and eat’ was published in 2021 to wide applause; temporarily out ranking Monty Don’s new publication- it might’ve been for only 30 minutes, but a glorious 30 minutes it was.

Liz will take you on an amble through the edible flowerbeds, talking about some of the stalwart plants of our gardens can be turned into delicious and beautiful seasonal food – she’ll come armed with samples & we’ll eat  our way through the virtual garden tour as we go.

April 2024 sees the publication of her next book Buds and Blossoms; a wander through a 20 edible garden plants looking at their histories and questioning quite why they ended up in our flower beds rather than vegetable patches. with beautiful illustrations and photography, over 100 recipes and stories about each plant you’ll never look at your garden in the same way. If she can twist her publishers arm she might have copies of her new book available to buy.
