Our speaker this month is Kevin Alviti, who has kindly stepped in to get Pip Smith – who is now coming in 2026 – out of trouble. Kevin has written a new talk for us entitled “Stone Soup – extra meals from the plot”

DECEMBER DINNER – The Riverside, Aymestrey – Tuesday, 9th December:
As advised in the September Newsletter, a reservation has been made for the Riverside at Aymestrey and the menu and booking form are now available on the website.
This reservation is restriction to 4 tables of 8 – 32 members – on a first come basis and we already have 16 names on the list.
Please hand in your menu choices on club night and payment by BACS to the club account is preferred. Card payment can be made to Gail on club night.
SEED ORDERS:
If you wish to place an order with Marshalls, please let me have your completed order form as soon as possible.
The discount on seeds remains at 50% and is 15% on everything else. There are also discounts on bulk delivery of composts etc.
Catalogues and order forms still available but there are many more items on the Marshalls website.
