  • Unfortunately, we can no longer accept payment by cheque but we will obviously still accept cash for the raffle, club sales and plant stall.
  • This month’s speaker is Nicola Hope on “Tales from the potting shed”
  • On the website, under “Meeting Reports”, you can read all the write ups of previous speakers
  • Some members were unable to obtain copies of the leaflets that our speaker last month provided.  These can now be found attached to the write up of her talk under “Meeting Reports” but the link is also here for convenience Marion-leaflets

Plant Sale:

Our annual plant sale is on the 17th May and we will start setting up from 10.00 am and need as much help as possible setting up the tables before delivery of the plants starts at 10.15 am.

We should already be thinking of collecting together plants we can donate. Tomatoes and vegetables always very popular, as well as annual, perennial and flowering shrubs.

Please label donations clearly and stake up if necessary – especially tomatoes!

Our lovely “tea ladies” will again to offering bacon rolls as well as the normal tea, coffee and cakes.

Please let Nick or Monica know if you are able to help on the day.

AGM – 28th July:

Should you wish to make any amendments to the Club Rules or Information, these must be handed to the secretary at the April meeting or posted to arrive at her home address – Arrow Heights, Leominster, HR6 8QE – 14 days before the May meeting (13th May) so that they can be published before the May meeting.  The current wording can be seen on our website.

August Show – 15th August:

Jane and her band of helpers have everything under control and the schedule can be found on our website.
