On 22 May Orleton and District Gardening Club held its annual plant sale at Orleton Village Hall.  Last year it was held outside due to Covid regulations and this proved such a success that it was decided to try to do this again.  The weather co-operated and trestle tables were set up outside the hall.  Donations were invited from 11 and the sale opened at 2.

As always the club was delighted by the number and variety of donated plants.  The outdoor venue made for a relaxed and convivial atmosphere and volunteers and visitors were able to enjoy a chat and exchange horticultural hints.  Teas were served inside the hall and a tool sharpening service was offered.

ODGC would like to thank all those who donated plants, set up and sold plants and prepared and dispensed the delicious refreshments.  Above all a big thank you to all the visitors who made the afternoon a huge success.
